What Can You Actually Do With Large Packages Of Snack Seasonings?

Posted on: 6 May 2022

If you buy from a bulk food supplier, you may see that they offer some large packages of snack seasonings. These seasonings may draw you in with their tasty ingredients and detailed flavor profiles. But if you're like many potential customers, you may not be sure how you'd actually use them. The good news is that you have plenty of options! Here are three ways to use snack seasonings.

Make your own baked snack mixes.

Before snack mixes were so readily available in stores, people used to make their own. They would combine some pretzels, crackers, and even nuts. They'd then season the items with some herbs and seasonings, along with some oil to make the seasonings stick. Then, they would bake the snack mixes to really set in the flavor. You can do this same thing with the snack seasonings you purchase.

The beauty of this method is that you can include whatever crackers and nuts you want in your mixture. Use about a tablespoon of oil per cup of snacks, plus one to two tablespoons of your snack seasoning. Toss everything around, spread it on a baking sheet, and bake the mixture for about 20 minutes at 275 degrees F, stirring often.

Top your popcorn.

Popcorn is a delicious, satisfying snack, but it can get a little boring if you just top it with butter and salt every time. So, try seasoning it with some of your snack seasonings instead. If you pop the popcorn in a pan with some oil, it will already have enough oil on it for the snack seasoning to stick. Start with just a sprinkle of the seasoning to see how you like it, and add more according to your taste.

Sprinkle it on toast and eggs.

Toast and eggs are more of a meal than a snack, but they are a meal that's nicely enhanced by snack seasoning. You can make your toast and scrambled eggs however you prefer, but do make sure you butter the toast so the seasoning has something to stick to. Sprinkle the seasoning over your breakfast, and dig in. The rest of your family might ask for the same thing.

If you've been tempted to buy a large package of snack seasoning, go for it. Find a flavor that most appeals to you, and place your order. You can use the ideas above and get creative as you enjoy the seasoning in so many different ways.

Finding The Best Food Supplier For Your Restaurant

When you first open a restaurant, all of those food suppliers might seem the same. In an effort to speed things up and to get a great deal, you might opt for whoever offers you the best deals on the things you order most frequently. Unfortunately, some suppliers can offer you a higher level of customer service than others can; which will matter later. After all, what will you do if you forget to add an important ingredient to your order? Will you be able to call the company and add it? I made this website to teach other restaurant owners what to look for in a food supplier.
